Allah, God, is the most Merciful and the most Gracious. He sent a number of prophets to guide people. In other words, Allah gave His guidance through the prophets. He selected the prophets according to His choice.
They are men of great virtue and character. Their lives were truly pure and honorable. They put Allah’s commands into practice so that their lives were models for mankind.
Their mission was as true leaders and guides of human society. Man’s life on the earth began with prophethood. The first man was also the first prophet. His name was Adam. Adam was created by Allah as were all the children of Adam. Allah sent different prophets to different nations. All nations have always been guided by prophets.
